Imagine you’ve got a story in mind and several sheets of paper. What happens if you use your old books, magazines and a pair of scissors instead of a pen? You might cut the sheet up, stick it back together, turn it upside down, cover it with photographs and random words, crumple it, start animating it… In long-term courses and summer courses you can make a unique large pop-up book.

Alena regularly runs collage storytelling (collage-in-movement) workshops for adults and families. She collaborates with MUD gallery near Prague, with the Municipal Library of Prague or Chrudim Puppet Festival.
Workshops combine the art of paper collage with object theatre and storytelling exercises, and explore fun and interesting ways to tell stories visually. They are great for everyone who wants to use paper in a new, imaginative way. Each workshop is also a great opportunity for puppeteers, storytellers and visual artists to expand their range of techniques and media.
