Alena is passionate about visual and community theatre. She creates intimate immersive shows for adults and families. Audiences are often invited to explore the room during the show and find objects and large pop-up books. In Missing Pages Theatre, Alena collaborates with other artists to tell stories visually, in unexpected ways.
As a community theatre director and facilitator, Alena has worked with young people of different backgrounds and abilities, with people aged 55+, and with local communities across Europe.
